- Will my insurance pay for counseling services?
Please contact me to discuss Insurance, Fee-For-Service or Self-Pay options.
- What if I don't want to use my Insurance?
I accept clients on a fee for service basis. My fee for self-pay clients is $125.00 for a clinical hour (45-50 minutes). Fee-for-service is the only way to receive therapy and maintain the highest level of confidentiality since there are no insurance forms submitted.
- What form of payment do you accept?
Payment is accepted in the form of cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover at the time services are rendered.
- Are sessions confidential?
Yes, sessions are completely confidential except where I am required by law to report information disclosed such as child or elder abuse or if someone were to be a danger to themselves or others. You will be provided with a Notice of Privacy Practices and Informed Consent at your first session which contains complete information about confidentiality.
- Are there any limitations to your practice?
Yes. I do not provide services that would include legal involvement or disability services of any kind. Also, if after doing the initial assessment, I feel that I am not the best match for you in order to help you be successful in your therapy, I will assist you in locating another provider who may be a better fit. Additionally, I am an adult only practice so I do not see children or adolescents.
